A New DVE For More Action
Fire 2008 is now fully compatible with the legendary Action module in Autodesk effects systems, making for easier transitions between systems. What’s more, the Fire DVE user interface has been standardized with that of Action, resulting in enhanced familiarity and interactivity.
Other enhancements include: Full compatibility between setups in the Fire DVE and the Autodesk® Flame® Action module.

Effects and Editing System Integration

The Lustre® Color Management feature minimizes the confusion over color values and enables everyone across the Autodesk Systems products pipeline* to work with and approve images with the same color values, Lustre Color Management tools provide a consistent and accurate color rendition of film originated material. This integrated, out-of-the-box solution is built upon high-precision spectral analysis of common print film stocks to achieve high-quality print simulation and high-fidelity color space conversion, from VFX to finishing and grading.

Your expanded desktop is now populated by more of the menus you regularly use, reducing the need for toggling. Use Autodesk® Burn® background rendering from your desktop modules or from Batch Timeline. Batch Timeline editing provides support for multi-track and multi-layer clips, as well as the capability to create and render Fire 2008 soft effects.
