What's my System ID on Windows?

Select "run" from the Start menu. Type cmd and press enter to open the Command prompt.

At this prompt, type ipconfig /all. You should get a line in the output for Physical Address like this:

Physical Address........0A-50-70-3B-37-7B

Your System ID is therefore 0A50703B377B.

When typing it into the demo license generator on the web site do not include the dashes.

Just type the numbers 0A50703B377B.

 

What's my System ID on Linux?

Type the following command in a shell:

netstat -ai

This will display the Kernel Interface Table and show the label for the ethernet card, usually eth0, in which case type:

/sbin/ifconfig eth0

The ethernet address is displayed after the parameter HWaddr.

Launch the System Preferences. Click on Network.

Show Built-in Ethernet. Click on Ethernet tab to display the Ethernet ID.

Your System ID is your Ethernet ID which is 000a957bfde7
